DGGV Journals

DGGV and DGGV Sections are editing and publishing several journals. Most important are ZDGG (Journal of Applied and Regional Geology / Zeitschrift der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Geowissenschaften, founded 1848) and IJES (International Journal of Earth Sciences / Geologische Rundschau, founded 1910). Both journals are ISI certified.

Other journals of DGGV, published in German language, are SDGG (writings of DGG) and EDGG (excursion guides and publications of DGG). News about DGGV are available in GMit (Geowissenschaftliche Mitteilungen). The working team Geschichte der Geowissenschaften (History of Geosciences) is responsible for publication of Geohistorische Blätter.
